List what stays out
Kettle, toaster and coffee equipment may be used daily. Give this group one defined area with nearby cups, supplies and sockets rather than spreading it along the room.
Store by point of use
Put oils and utensils near food preparation, pans near the hob and dishwasher items near the sink. Shorter movements make it easier to return things after use.
Use appliance storage carefully
An appliance garage can hide equipment, but it must have safe power and ventilation arrangements. Heavy appliances should not require awkward lifting each day.
